Campground Closures - Colville National Forest   will be temporarily closing Lake Thomas, Lake Gillette and Lake Leo campgrounds from September 13 through October 15 for improvements. They plan to resurface the roads. The area will be closed to all vehicle and foot traffic. The boat launches will not be accessible during this period.

The closure will NOT affect Beaver Lodge or Princess Pine Camp.

Remarks:
A burn ban is in effect July 15, 2010 through September 30, 2010 on all forest lands under Department of Natural Resources jurisdiction. All outdoor burning is banned with the exception of recreational fires in approved fire pits within designated state, county, municipal or other campgrounds. The use of gas and propane barbeques and self contained stoves are allowed.
